Ian Ord has worked in the Renewable Energy Industry since 1997 and set up his own company Watson Ord Renewables, in February 2012. The aim of the company is to develop Safety support with an understanding of what the customers’ need.

The growth in the wind industry has been astonishing over the last 20 years and it is important that quality support and innovative thinking adds to the reputation of those in the industry. There is also further development in Tidal Energy Generation and Solar Energy Farms. Watson Ord Renewables aim to provide safety support and training that can make a difference to their safety culture.

A key improvement to the Wind Industry has been the development of The Wind Turbine Safety Rules and Watson Ord Renewables is able to provide full support for the preparation of documents, company and site implementation, and training to those companies working in the Wind Industry.
